VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Byron Optimist Soccer Soccer Club utilizes volunteer coaches for our Recreational soccer programs. Volunteering is a terrific way to get involved in soccer, while at the same time supporting your club and your community.

Coaches, you are required to register as a coach for each division you want to help out in - using this link. We will use the contact info you provide to reach you about Coach Orientation in the spring.

To assist our Club’s coaches, the Club’s Staff Coaches have assembled the following links which contain activities and exercises for coaches of players U4 to U12:

Ontario Soccer GRASSROOTS PRACTICES –  Ontario Soccer has created this resource for Districts, Clubs, Academies, and youth coaches to follow a coaching curriculum that is designed to meet physical literacy needs for players from age 4-12. The curriculum helps to remove the guesswork’ in choosing developmentally appropriate content and enables coaches to work on their methodology and coaching style.
